Building Facade Image Capture

Trek Wireless's team of photographers are available to photograph building facades across the UK and Europe. Facade magery can be applied to the 3D faces of building models to enhance street level visualisation.

Following initial image capture, we rectify, scale and index images. This significantly reduces the workload for 3D modellers as our images can be quickly and easily integrated into 3D wire frame models as phototextures.

While on site we can also measure building facades, and provide scaled vector data in a range of 3D interchange formats.

360 Panoramic Images

Trek Wireless operates both vehicle based and 'on foot' panoramic image capture systems for the rapid acquisition of 360 degree panoramic images. This allows us to offer a comprehensive service covering public highways, pedestrian and indoor areas.

Panoramic images provide a 360 degree  'immersive' viewing experience and can be easily integrated into 3D models either as a URL or a flash movie. They also provide a cost effective means of recording actual on the ground 'view sheds' suitable for use in town planning and highways modeling.

Navigation and 'hot spots' can be included in the panorama so that the viewer can take a 'virtual tour'.

As the panorama's are in flash format they are easily downloaded and viewed on most computers.
